The EARTHWORK EXPERIMENTS are a “collection” of ongoing and interconnected practice-as-research multi-form and multi-media investigations exploring art as instigator/ facilitator for environmental and social change.
I am driven by the goal to discover a multi-sensorial language that might engage a viewer's brain in simultaneous sensorial responses, eliciting individual and emotional experiences and memories of nature, opening a pathway that leads beyond abstract and intellectual considerations of environmental catastrophe to an experience which is immediate and personal and is a quiet reminder that we humans are not rulers of Nature or even a part of Nature, but that, we too, are Nature.
